         A memorable look

The Canadian photographer Finbarr O´ Reilly took this photo while he was working in Niger. He saw a woman and her baby in an emergency centre. In the chaos, she was waiting patiently for food when she looke at the camera. The picture is moving because we can see the the woman´s dignity and understand her situation. Her eyes are striking, and the detail of the baby´s hand is very powerful.

        Ambition and patience

When wildlife specialist Steve Bloom was in a small boat near the coast of South Africa he captured this tragic image. In order to get it, he had to spend almost sixteen days. Thus, he was waiting patiently, since he knew that great sharks were hunting in that area. When a shark finally appeared, he took this perfect picture. Everything happened very quickly.

       Illusion

Lucy Nicholson took this picture when she was watching the finals of the NBA Western Conference Finals. It was a tense game and the players were concentrating very hard as the ball balanced on the basket. This picture is exciting and colourful.
